Effective, January 1, 2011, the owner/operator of an aboveground petroleum storage tank
facility must pay an annual fee to the CUPA. The fee will be established by the CUPA to support the incurred costs related
to the administration and implementation of the Aboveground Petroleum Storage Tank (APST) Program. These costs include,
but not limited to, inspections, enforcement, and administrative costs. In addition, an annual state surcharge fee will
apply to each tank facility to cover the incurred costs of the State Agency to carrying out the functions of the APST program.
These fees will appear on the annual consolidated OC CUPA invoice established by the single fee system.
